Romantic Valentine’s Day Dates For Couples
Chances are after a few years together you’ve gotten tired of the same old Valentine’s Day dates and want to surprise your chosen Valentine with a unique and romantic time together. Here are some great Valentine’s dates that won’t leave your special someone bored or unhappy:
Go to a Wine & Cheese Tasting
Check out the area for a wine and cheese tasting activity. It can be fun to try out new flavors together and feed each other from the various selections. You not only get to find out some new wines or cheeses that you may love, but you also get to spend quality time with each other in a new venue.
Sign Up for a Cooking Class
A cooking class can also be a fun Valentine’s Day date. Some places even schedule special couples’ romantic classes where you make a fabulous dinner and a decadent dessert together and then you get to eat it by candle light. You may be able to schedule a private cooking class for an even better date.
Go On an Outside Date
Have fun together by doing something outside like bike riding, skating, skiing or even just taking a nice walk together and talking about the things you love about one another. It’s a great way for couples to reconnect, as well as get some fresh air and exercise. You could also take a romantic horse and carriage ride around the city if they are offered in your area, just be sure to bring a blanket and snuggle up!
Take a Weekend Trip
It’s also fun to plan a weekend alone with your loved one and have the hotel room all set up with flowers, chocolates, and even some rose petals on the bed. Even if you can only afford to stay one night, it’s still worth it, especially for couples with children.
Go to a Spa Together
Another unique date is to have a spa day together. You can put on some fluffy robes, get a couples’ massage, and then relax together in the Jacuzzi.
Record Your Favorite Love Songs
Remember all those songs the two of you loved when you first started seeing each other? Make Valentine’s Day special by making a recording of some of them and then listen to them together while you have a dinner that you made together. It’s bound to lead to a very unique dessert as well!
